If you're putting together a home gym, you are probably trying to decide which type of dumbbells would be best. For most people, hex dumbbells are an excellent choice because they are affordable, won't roll, and are versatile. A hex dumbbell that is ideal for any gym but perfect for small spaces is the York Barbell Premium PVC coated dumbbells.

These dumbbells were developed with York's enduring standard of performance and function. This York dumbbell set review will discuss why Your dumbbells are great for any home gym.

The York Dumbbell set is a safe and attractive set of dumbbells great for beginners and experienced lifters. They come with knurled chrome handles and durable rubber-covered heads for increased safety and comfort.

We love the rubber coating because it increases the durability of the dumbbell, protects your flooring and other equipment, enhances their appearance, keeps the noise levels down, and makes them easy to clean.

Unique Features Of The York Dumbbell Set

Every garage gym needs a quality set of dumbbells. Dumbbells allow you to do various exercises that will strengthen your entire body. The York dumbbell set is one of the best dumbbells we've used for several reasons. We prefer hex dumbbells over round dumbbells because of the added safety and performance.

Tough & Durable Rubber Compound Material

The York Hex Dumbbell set has a very strong and very durable rubber compound material. This material is used to increase durability, protect flooring, make sanitation easy, limit noise, enhance appearance, and prevent rust. And it does just that.

Rubber Coating For Floor Protection

If you have a home gym, the last thing you want to do is damage your floors. The rubber coating on these York dumbbells will keep you from denting your floors, and it will also protect your other gym equipment.

Anti-Roll Safety Design

Many people like to use dumbbells for more than just curls and presses. Dumbbells can also be used for exercises like dumbbell push-ups. However, with round dumbbell heads, you run the risk of losing your balance during these movements. With the anti-roll safety design of a hex dumbbell, you never have to worry about that.

Ergonomic Chrome-Plated Knurled Steel Handle

This York dumbbell set features a heavily contoured ergonomic chrome handle with aggressive knurling that creates a tight grip. The knurled chrome handles are ergonomically contoured to fit comfortably in anyone's palm.

Torque Threaded Rubber Heads

The torque threaded rubber heads of these dumbbells provide permanent fixing to the handles. This improves the strength of the head and handle joint of the dumbbell.

Easy To Clean

This is a great-looking set of dumbbells, so we want to make sure they stay clean. Fortunately, the premium PVC coating is easy to clean, ensuring they look good and last a long time.

The York PVC Dumbbells - 5-50 lbs and the York Dumbbells - 2.5 -125 lbs are excellent dumbbell sets for home gym use. The 5-50lb set of dumbbells is a fantastic deal, and most people won't need any weight heavier than 50lb.

With this set, you get 1 Pair of Each: 5lb, 10lb, 15lb, 20lb, 25lb, 30lb, 35lb, 40lb, 45lb, 50lb. If you need dumbbells a little heavier, there are dumbbell sets available up to 125lbs that you can buy separately. If you need a lot of individual sets, though, the price will add up fairly quickly.

The best thing about dumbbells is that they are ready to use right out of the box. As soon as you open them up, you are ready to do curls, presses, squats, lunges, and anything you can think of.

Cleaning and maintenance are pretty straightforward with dumbbells as well. Add a few drops of dish soap to a gallon of water and grab a rag, and you can clean them up quickly. Clean them like this every once in a while and try to avoid dropping them, and these durable dumbbells will last you a long time.

The knurled chrome handles on these dumbbells are pretty comfortable and easy to hold. You can use lifting gloves if you'd like, but they aren't necessary with these dumbbells.

These York dumbbells sets stand up nicely to its competitors, even the Rogue brand of dumbbells. They are great for your home gym, and that rubbery smell that is infamous with rubber dumbbells will go away in just a few weeks.
