What Is Huge Supplements Wrecked Pre-Workout?
Huge Supplements was founded in 2019. Although they are a young company, they have made their mark very quickly.
They have almost 40 thousand Instagram followers and have become a recognizable name among gym-goers.
Wrecked Pre-Workout is a powder pre-workout supplement that dissolves in liquid.
It contains 17 ingredients in different quantities, and each of the ingredients should improve your workout performance.
Some of these ingredients have been clinically proven to affect the intensity of your workout and thus muscle growth, while some others have a pretty vague role.
I will do my best to break down each of them later in this review.
One scoop of this pre-workout supplement is 30.2 grams, which is more than average but also expected due to the number of ingredients.

I have to admit I am sometimes reluctant to try new pre-workouts.

I've probably tried over 100 different flavors so far, and honestly, very few of them I really liked. This time I decided to try Peach Rings and Raspberry Mojito since I'm a huge mojito fan.
I found the Peach Rings to be the best Wrecked pre-workout flavor, but the Raspberry Mojito is also just fine.
In fact, both flavors exceeded my expectations. For me, the most important thing is that the pre-workouts are not too sweet, but slightly sour because I like refreshing tastes before a workout.
However, I don't like the aftertaste; it is strange and sticks around for some time.
As for the other two flavors, the customer reviews are positive, so I guess you can't go wrong with either one, and the rest is a matter of personal taste.
As for mixing, it is easy to mix especially considering how large the serving is. I was pleasantly surprised when it dissolved after I shook the shaker just a few times.
I always mix the pre-workout supplements with water, and I recommend that to my clients.
Milk is certainly not a good option, especially if you have digestive problems, such as lactose intolerance, and many pre-workouts do not mix well with juices.
2. Performance Increase
On the very first day, I did one set more of each exercise.
I didn't want to jump to conclusions, but when I noticed that I had been doing extra few reps and sets over and over again, I knew Wrecked Pre-Workout was responsible for the improved performance.
I like how potent pre-workout is, so you can expect to feel the effects of it even during the last part of the long training sessions, which exceed an hour and a half.
Of course, you should temper your expectations because this is not a performance-enhancing drug (PED) but a supplement.
That's why you won't become Hulk suddenly, but you will definitely notice a boost, and it can help you get past a weightlifting plateau.
A muscle pump, also called transient hypertrophy, is not as important as one might think.
It is only a temporary increase in muscle size as a result of the accumulation of blood and other fluids in the muscles. After you finish the workout, the pump will disappear.
But the pump can motivate you. When you see your big muscles in the mirror, you will want them to be like that all the time, and then you will give your maximum during training.

6. Side Effects
My sensitive stomach is like a radar for supplements that cause bloating and diarrhea. I can tell you that this one most likely won’t upset your stomach.
Since Wrecked Pre-Workout contains three or four times more beta-alanine than some other pre-workout supplements, the beta-alanine itch is inevitable.
As I already said, those who are sensitive to caffeine can potentially feel jitters or anxiousness, but I didn't have any such problems.

I knew there was a possibility of experiencing a crash after taking Wrecked, one of the strongest pre-workouts, due to the amount of caffeine, beta-alanine, and other substances, but it passed that test with flying colors.
However, napping is impossible for me after taking Wrecked Pre-Workout, so I don't consume it after 5 PM, or I'm pretty sure it would affect the quality of my night's sleep.

As for the cost, it is expensive. One pack, which is 20 servings, will cost you just about $50. That's $2.50 per serving, so it belongs to the group of the most expensive pre-workout supplements.

Now it's time to break down all 17 ingredients the Wrecked pre-workout includes.
I had to do a lot of research to be able to analyze this product properly, as even I wasn't familiar with all of its ingredients, while some (like sodium and beta-alanine) are classic pre-workout staples.
Sodium (As Himalayan Pink Sea Salt) – 196.5mg
Pink Himalayan pink salt has taken the market by storm. Allegedly, it has many health benefits.
Some claim that Himalayan salt is lower in sodium and more natural than table salt, but these claims have not been confirmed.
There are two reasons why salt is added to Wrecked pre-workout.
The first reason is electrolytes. Electrolytes are in charge of many body functions, and sweating causes you to lose electrolytes, so it is recommended to increase your intake before a workout.
The second reason is a larger pump since salt retains water.
196.5 mg of salt is less than 10% of the daily value, so you don't have to worry about pre-workout affecting sodium intake.

L-Citrulline – 8000mg
Huge Supplements did not disclose whether the ratio is 1:1 or 2:1, but I guess it is 1:1 as it was before. L-citrulline is a non-essential amino acid.
It is one of the most common ingredients in pre-workout supplements, and it should improve blood flow, which leads to increased muscle pump and reduced muscle fatigue.
The dose of L-Citrulline in Wrecked is higher than average, so you will experience the huge pump I already mentioned.
L-Citrulline is safe and has no known side effects. Watermelon is a natural source of it.
Hydromax (65% Glycerol) – 4000mg
Glycerol is an essential part of many pre-workout and hydration supplements because it has been proven to increase aerobic and anaerobic endurance.
Thanks to glycerol, the water stays in the body longer, so it has a huge influence on fluid balance and, therefore, performance.
Hydromax is a trademarked compound in which glycerol makes up two-thirds.
It is questionable whether this amount of glycerol is enough because, according to research, at least 6000 mg is needed.
Glycerol was banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), but a few years ago, it was removed from the Prohibited List.
Beta-Alanine – 3500mg
It is another non-essential amino acid. If you feel a tingle after taking pre-workout, beta-alanine is the "culprit."
Beta-alanine is used to improve endurance during high-intensity activities.

Betaine Anhydrous – 3000mg
Betaine anhydrous, also known as trimethylglycine, is a chemical that occurs naturally in the body and can also be found in different foods.
Studies that speak in favor of betaine show an increase in protein synthesis and power output. Nevertheless, most of those studies could not offer irrefutable evidence.
What has been proven is the safety of this chemical, so betaine will not harm you, and if you believe in its efficacy, 3g is more than enough.
Malic Acid – 3000mg
Malic acid helps the body produce ATP, which is the source of energy at the cellular level. The replenishment of ATP is a metabolic process that plays a key role in high-intensity exercise.
This important acid is involved in energy metabolism, hence the connection between malic acid and ATP.
Citrulline and malic acid go hand in hand, creating citrulline malate. You will often see citrulline malate among the ingredients, but in this case, the manufacturer decided to separate them.
Agmatine Sulfate – 1500mg
Agmatine supposedly increases nitric oxide production and muscle pump.
I have not found any relevant human subject research, so the role of agmatine sulfate is still unproven. The dosage is safe.
L-Tyrosine – 1500mg
This is the third non-essential amino acid among the ingredients.
L-tyrosine affects dopamine, which leads to a cognitive boost, improved endurance, and better pain tolerance.
More evidence is certainly needed, and 1500mg is an effective dosage.
Alpha GPC 50% - 600mg
Alpha GPC is used for many different purposes, although we are still waiting for indisputable confirmation of its effectiveness.
You will find it in pre-workout supplements, study supplements, as well as supplements for people suffering from Alzheimer's disease, stroke, and dementia.
The average dose is around 300mg, but 600mg is also safe.
Lion's Mane Mushroom (Hericium Erinaceus) – 600mg

Wrecked has a higher dose of caffeine in comparison to the standard clinical dosage, but I think 250mg is not too much. 200-300mg of Caffeine Anhydrous is perfect, in my opinion.
Eria Jarensis Extract – 250mg
Eria Jarensis Extract is considered to be the herbal replacement for DMAA.
It works by promoting the secretion of dopamine and noradrenaline, which will affect your focus and motivation.
At the moment, it is impossible to claim whether Eria Jarensis extract is safe, but the lack of side effects is an encouraging sign.
Theobromine – 150mg
At first glance, theobromine may sound like some anabolic steroid. But don't worry, it's a cardiac stimulant like caffeine that's extracted from cocoa beans. It is completely safe.
Theobromine is released more slowly compared to caffeine, so it is good for endurance activities.
Di-Caffeine Malate – 100mg
Di-Caffeine Malate has a longer half-life compared to Caffeine Anhydrous. Half-life is the time it takes for a substance to lose its effect.
Di-Caffeine Malate and Caffeine Anhydrous should work together and provide enough energy throughout the workout.
S7 – 75mg
S7 is a trademarked blend of Green Coffee Bean Extract, Green Tea Extract, Turmeric Extract, Tart Cherry, Blueberry, Broccoli, and Kale.
75mg is a highly effective dose that will affect blood flow to the muscles. According to some reports, S7 may boost nitric oxide levels by over 200%.
Black Pepper Fruit Extract – 10mg
Black pepper extract has become popular in the dietary supplement industry for its ability to enhance the bioavailability of nutrients.
In this way, the effectiveness of other nutrients is increased.
Rauwolscine (Rauwolfia Vomitoria Root Extract) – 1mg
Rauwolscine is a chemical that can be obtained from plants or artificially produced in a lab. Wrecked contains Rauwolfia vomitoria root extract, so it is natural.

Who Shouldn’t Buy Wrecked Pre-Workout?
Pregnant or nursing women, as well as children under the age of 18, should avoid taking this or any other pre-workout supplement.
People with heart disease are another group for whom it is not suitable because it may raise blood pressure during intense workouts.

Wrecked and Gorilla Mode are similar pre-workout powders. Since I assume that you will want to take 2 scoops of Gorilla Mode, these two pre-workouts cost identically - about $50 for 20 servings.
Amounts of L-Citrulline and caffeine are very much the same.
If we exclude less important ingredients such as herbal extracts and trademark blends, the two main differences between Wrecked and Gorilla Mode are beta-alanine and creatine.
Unlike Wrecked, which contains a significant dose of beta-alanine, Gorilla Mode is free of that amino acid.
On the other hand, Wrecked is free of creatine monohydrate, while consuming two scoops of Gorilla Mode will provide 5g of creatine monohydrate, which is the recommended daily value.
So it all comes down to your needs and preferences.
Those who take creatine monohydrate separately and primarily want a pump should go with Wrecked, while those who want a 2-in-1 product - creatine + pre-workout and don’t like tingle will prefer Gorilla Mode.

Wrecked Vs RYSE Pre-Workout
RYSE Pre-Workout is cheaper than Wrecked. For $43, you get 25 servings, which is about $1.70 per serving. One scoop is only 12.6g, so it mixes very easily in any type of liquid.
Beta-alanine and caffeine are present in roughly the same amounts, but RYSE lacks L-Citrulline, so the pump is significantly weaker compared to Wrecked.
Many complain about the taste, while I find it tolerable.
Although the amount of caffeine is the same, I had a crash after an hour and a half, something I haven't experienced with the Wrecked pre-workout supplement.
