Huge Supplements Wrecked pre-workout is an excellent product, no matter how advanced of a lifter you are. It is a well-designed formula with all the necessary ingredients (and some extras) for you to reach peak performance.
What I liked about Wrecked is - it works both ways. More often than not, when you have this “one scoop for beginners and two scoops for maximum efficacy” kind of formula - a single scoop isn’t usually good enough. In this case, that’s not true.
Wrecked pre-workout offers enough active ingredients to provide a comprehensive performance boost.
My Ratings Explained
When I perform product evaluations, such as Wrecked pre-workout review, I like to rate the product in three categories - ingredients, effectiveness, and price.
Wrecked pre-workout offers an array of different active ingredients (granted, some of which are questionable or slightly underdosed), but overall, you get a ton of useful and effective compounds - especially if you double-scoop.
Effectiveness-wise, Wrecked pre-workout will be exceptionally strong if you double-scoop, but even if you don’t, you will still benefit from it. I guess a few extra milligrams of caffeine could work, but then again, double-scooping might prove to be too much in that case.
The price point for Wrecked pre-workout is excellent. It’s 25% under the median price for a pre-workout, but its effectiveness far exceeds it. On the other hand, double scoop isn’t that budget-friendly at $2.5 per serving, but considering you’re getting a ton of value in that case, I’d say it’s worth it.

Will My Performance Increase?
My performance increased while taking Wrecked pre-workout from Huge Supplements. It gave me an all-around increase in every aspect of my athletic and mental performance - even when I took a single serving.

However, when I took two servings, which is probably what many experienced gymgoers will do, my performance simply skyrocketed. I felt like Superman on two scoops of Wrecked pre-workout.

The most noticeable change, regardless of the dose, was in focus and pumps. My muscles looked huge, my veins were popping, and I have to say, that was really motivating.
The focus was also really good. I recently found out that Alpha GPC really does the job for me when paired with caffeine. When I pair the two, I’m happy, motivated, and impossible to distract, and my mind-muscle connection is impeccable.
As for strength, energy, and endurance, I’ll just tell you that double-scooping felt so good I set volume PR the first time I took it. Amazing stuff.
How Will I Feel Post-Workout?

Wrecked pre-workout is absolutely a fairly priced supplement. At $1.25 per serving, it essentially crushes the competition in this price bracket, and from what I’ve seen, it is better than quite a few pre-workouts that are more expensive.
As I said earlier, even if you double-scoop Wrecked pre-workout, you will still end up with a reasonably priced serving. Double-dipping into a Wrecked pre-workout jar means you will get near or maximum efficacious dosages for several ingredients, and that’s not something you see often.
Is It A Fair Price?
There is no doubt that 99% of people will feel an energy boost after only 10 or 15 minutes.
Those who do not consume caffeine at all may experience restlessness, but in general, it will provide you with a steady energy boost without sudden jumps and falls.
It is especially good for morning workouts when you have to get up at 5 or 6 AM to make it to the gym before work. Even though I'm an early bird, everyone needs a little help.

While Wrecked pre-workout is already a great product, the most efficient way to increase your performance would be to double the dose you take.
If you double-scoop, you will ingest an excellent, clinically efficacious amount of pre-workout ingredients that will elevate every aspect of your performance.
Also, you can eat a single heaving teaspoon of honey before you hit the gym.

Caffeine
Caffeine is the main ingredient in many pre-workouts due to its remarkable stimulating properties.
The way caffeine works is it binds to adenosine receptors, eliminating the feelings of fatigue and promoting the feelings of alertness and wakefulness, which we perceive as elevated energy.
Wrecked pre-workout offers approximately 160 mg of caffeine through caffeine anhydrous and di-caffeine malate, meaning you will get to experience improvements in the following areas:
Caffeine’s effects are well known and even better researched. In fact, a 2010 study showed that ingesting approximately 5 mg of caffeine per 1 kilogram of body weight could improve athletic performance significantly, even in previously trained men.[1]
Citrulline
Citrulline is the most effective NO precursor in the world of pre-workout supplements. Its role as an L-arginine precursor allows it to significantly increase the nitric oxide levels in the blood, leading to enhanced blood flow and nutrient delivery.
While 4 grams of citrulline is below the clinically effective dose for boosting NO production, Wrecked pre-workout makes up for this difference by including another NO booster - Hydromax, allowing you to enjoy the improvements in the following aspects:
Citrulline’s effects on muscle pumps are well known, but even the lesser known and often disputed effects on endurance and strength have scientific backing. In fact, a 2021 study led by doctor Fredrik Tonstad Vårvik has shown that supplementing with 6-8 grams of citrulline 20-40 minutes before working out can increase “repetitions by 3 ± 5 (6.4 ± 7.9%)”.[2]
L-Tyrosine
L-tyrosine is an amino acid found in various protein-rich foods and is a precursor to several important neurotransmitters, including dopamine, norepinephrine, and epinephrine.
As such, tyrosine plays a crucial role in supporting cognitive function, mood regulation, and stress response in the human body (which, in this case, would be physical exercise).
The effective dose ranges from 500-2000 mg, meaning Wrecked pre-workout will provide you with a clinically efficacious dose even if you don’t double-scoop.

While the fatigue-delaying effects are still up for discussion due to the lack of ironclad data supporting it, numerous studies have shown that tyrosine can improve cognitive performance. In fact, a 1993 study concluded that tyrosine can “reduce the effects of stress and fatigue on cognitive task performance”.[3]

Apart from caffeine, Wrecked also contains theobromine, a natural compound found in cacao beans and is most commonly associated with chocolate.
As far as its use in a pre-workout, theobromine functions as a mild stimulant by blocking adenosine receptors in the brain (like caffeine).
However, at 75 or 150 mg, depending on the serving size, it is not really likely theobromine will make any difference in your performance, as studies show that theobromine isn’t particularly effective if administered under 250 mg.[4]
Now, I guess you could count N,N-Dimethylphenethylamine and Rauwolscine as stimulants, too, but their effects tend to be more complex than just stimulatory, so more on them in a second.

As you can clearly see, Wrecked pre-workout is a very complex formula with loads of different ingredients.
To make it less overwhelming, here’s what all of them do:

What it is: Stable, highly concentrated (at 65%) powdered combination of glycerol and silica.
Why it's used: Enhance hydration, improve exercise performance and endurance, and muscle pumps.
Beta-Alanine
What it is: Beta-alanine is a non-essential amino acid and a precursor for carnosine synthesis.
Why it's used: Enhance endurance and reduce muscle fatigue.
Betaine
What it is: Amino acid and a metabolite of choline, also known as trimethylglycine.
Why it's used: Increase strength and power during resistance training.
Agmatine
What it is: Endogenous metabolite of arginine and neurotransmitter and neuromodulator.[5]

How I Felt When I Took Wrecked Pre-Workout
Here’s how I felt during the testing portion of the Wrecked pre-workout review.
Within 15 Minutes
I would usually start to notice the beta-alanine tingles within the first 15 minutes. For some of you, the itchiness may be motivating, but I don’t really like it, to be honest. Thankfully, it would usually last only 15-20 minutes, so I’d be itch-free before I’d start lifting.
Another thing I noticed right away, especially when double-scooping, is a lovely increase in energy. It wasn’t sudden or unpleasant, but a nice, gradual rise in my energy and eagerness to lift.

Within 60 Minutes
Sixty minutes in, my energy levels would peak. I’d be on my third exercise most of the time and would feel like I had just gotten started.
Muscle fatigue wouldn’t kick in, and I would easily do an extra two to three reps on my final sets. I even managed to destroy my weekly volume PR for both chest and shoulders, which felt incredibly satisfying.
One more thing I have to say is that I haven’t felt this focused in a really long time. I couldn’t be distracted, I’d focus on my form and ROM, and performing isolation exercises felt extremely effective. Huge Supplements really nailed the focus-enhancing portion of the Wrecked pre-workout formula.
After 6+ Hours
Not once did I crash while doing the Wrecked pre-workout review, so six or seven hours after taking it, I felt great.
My mind was clear, I wasn’t drained or irritable, and I would enjoy my evenings with my girlfriend. We’d watch a movie or a show, and I wouldn’t doze off until it was time to sleep.
On that note, I slept great. Wrecked didn't affect my sleep in the slightest, although I'm sure it would if I were to take it close to bedtime.
All in all, there really weren’t any residual effects of Wrecked pre-workout for me.

How Does It Compare To Other Pre-Workouts?
Wrecked Vs Gorilla Mode Pre-Workout
Gorilla Mode is one of my favorite pre-workout supplements, and for a good reason - it’s effective and well-formulated.
In a head-to-head comparison with Wrecked pre-workout, Gorilla Mode comes out on top.
Gorilla Mode offers a slightly more potent citrulline and caffeine dose, it contains a hefty creatine dose and has no beta-alanine, meaning there won’t be any itching.
I will say that Wrecked pre-workout does offer a bit more in the focus-enhancement category, but that isn’t enough to skew the results in its favor.

RYSE pre-workout contains one of the most potent caffeine dosages on the market, but that’s about the only area where this pre-workout shines. In other words, it doesn’t really compare to Wrecked.
Sure, Wrecked contains a lot less caffeine than RYSE. However, Wrecked pre-workout will give you massive pumps and an even better focus boost than you could ever hope to get from RYSE.
Also, RYSE will most likely lead to a crash afterwards, which is something I never experienced with Wrecked pre-workout.
