ANCHEER Indoor Cycling Bike (M6008) Tested & Reviewed

ANCHEER Indoor Cycling Bike

If you really want to get some exercise indoors, it’s a good idea to get a stationary indoor cycling bike. This Ancheer indoor bike model M6008 offers a number of interesting features, but does it live up to the promise?

Features of the Ancheer M6008 Indoor Bike

The Ancheer indoor bike is a good looking Machine. That was my very first impression. It features a really solid steel frame, which is absolutely essential when you want to exercise. Some inferior models aren’t quite as sturdy, and this makes them a potential injury risk.

It also features a nice and quiet belt drive. Lots of people actually underestimate just how important it is to have a quiet indoor ride. If you have a noisy belt drive and you’re cycling on it every day for at least 30 minutes, you’ll soon get sick and tired of the grind and the sound. Fortunately, this Ancheer indoor bike has a good silent belt drive mechanism. This is where many inferior models are distinctly lacking.

Like many bikes, the Ancheer features a resistance design so that you can easily adjust how difficult you want your ride to be. If you want an easy ride, just use the easy controls and customizable settings to lower the resistance. Just turn up the resistance if you want a tougher ride. Additionally, the resistance is magnetic. There is a plate that contains magnets and the closer this is to the flywheel, the more resistance there is.

It’s certainly not the biggest model, but nor is it super small. The dimensions are a neat 47.6 in length, 20.7 in width, and 44.1 in height (121 x 52.6 x 112 cm). This means that it can pretty easily squeeze into most bedrooms and won’t take up a whole lot of space in your home gym either.

Often, it’s the little details that really matter on these exercise machines, and the Ancheer M6008 indoor bike offers some nice features. The LCD monitor is easy enough to read at any angle, and it also provides a nice readout that displays time, distance, speed, pulse, and so on. There are two water bottle holders should you get thirsty and there’s also a neat little bracket that will hold a phone if you want to plug in and listen to some podcasts or music while you ride.

What Are People Saying?

A number of customers really enjoyed the fact that the stainless steel tubing has a nice snug fit. This means that the frame has no wobble, even during heavy use. Similarly, the same customers found the Ancheer bike to feel nice and comfortable.

Other customers loved the 40 lb flywheel because it was just enough to get a good workout, but was also quite due to the silent belt drive. They could easily exercise in a living space without disturbing anyone else in the area who might be watching TV.

Not everything is smooth sailing though, and some customers were unhappy with the sturdiness of this bike. They found that the handlebars and the pedals felt very cheap and not sturdy at all.

Other customers found that the bike had no magnetic resistance, despite the fact that it was listed as having a magnetic resistance design.

Pros & Cons

But as we know, nothing is perfect, right? So here is the sum up of pros and cons.

Pros

The Ancheer cycle certainly offers some interesting features. Here’s what I like most about it:

  • Stainless steel frame that is sturdy and strong so that it will feel solid when exercising
  • Easy to read multi-readout LCD screen that displays all of the useful information that indoor cyclists expect
  • Silent belt drive and 40 lb flywheel that won’t wake up the neighbors and will prove to be a real boon indoors
  • Unique magnetic resistance training feature that allows you to dial in exactly the kind of bike workout you want at any time
  • Not too big and not too heavy
Cons

Nothing is truly perfect and there are always going to be downsides to any product. Here’s where the Ancheer cycling bike falls short:

  • The design is not to everyone’s tastes and some people found that parts of it, such as the handlebars and pedals, were too flimsy for them
  • Despite being listed as having a magnetic resistance design, some customers found that there were no magnets at all

Conclusion – Is This a Good Choice for You?

Our rating: 4.4 Star Rating 4.4 / 5

If you need to get some exercise, but you don’t always have the time to go out to the gym or jog around the block, the Ancheer M6008 indoor bike might just be perfect for you. While not the smallest stationary bike, the Ancheer does feature magnetic resonance and a silent belt drive configuration. This makes it a good choice for people who might have an older bike and need a good upgrade at a reasonable cost. However, if you are looking for something more heavy-duty, I’d suggest to check out stationary bike by pooboo.
